Clay Foster

Clay’s experience in fencing started back in 2002 when he commenced working for Ambit Industries and learnt basic fencing and fabrication skills from the ground up. Roles with both Broome Boundaries and Skylight Building followed and this gave Clay further exposure and experience to a wider range of fencing and related products, carpentry and construction skills.

Between 2006 – 2011, Clay’s expanding experience, drive and the ability to motivate teams and manage client relationships was recognized and led to a number of supervisory roles for large projects based in both Perth and the Pilbara. He then moved to a position as Branch Manager for Boundaries WA. Based in the Pilbara, Clay was responsible for successfully rebuilding client relationships with major companies such as BHP, Rio and FMG. The ability to manage the logistical side of larger scale projects then led to a supervisory role for another major Pilbara project, solidifying and building on his existing skills.

In 2011, Clay, along with a group of partners, successfully established Foster Fencing. Based in Perth and supplying a broad range of fencing and fencing related services. This business flourished and gave him exposure to service delivery best practices in an extremely competitive market. Then the South West called! Clay had a love for the South West region, the ocean and general way of life, so in 2014 he decided to make the move from Fosters fencing and base himself permanently ‘down south’ and Bears Fencing was established. Clay’s extensive experience, general drive and passion for everything he does, have ensured that Bears have gone from strength to strength. The business has built a positive reputation throughout the region, driven by its ability to manage and deliver quality results for both small and large scale projects with a professional and focussed core team.
